Renault Twingo Nokia Edition Car
Under a partnership with mobile phone giant Nokia, this special edition has three advanced in-car entertainment and communication systems:
* MPS-compatible 140W radio and CD player with audio connection box (USB, jack and iPod inputs), remote display and steering-wheel controls.
* Hands-free Bluetooth phone control which displays the phone's contacts list directly on the dashboard. The call is transferred to the car's speakers for optimum acoustics, with the radio switching off automatically during incoming and outgoing calls.
* GPS navigation system with visual and voice guidance on a Nokia 6110 Navigator phone. Road maps and street plans are pre-loaded in the phone's MicroSD card. This includes thousands of locations of interest, and users can download pay services such as speed-trap location, traffic information and weather forecasts. The GPS function can also be used outside the car, to find a location in the city centre after parking the car, for example.
The Twingo Nokia is based on the standard range's Dynamique version but has its own distinctive exterior styling including dark tinted rear glass. In France, it will be priced from EUR12,150. It will also be released, from November 2007 onwards, in Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Belgium and Holland.
